National Sports First Aid

6 & 7 October 2012

The course is delivered over two days with particular attention given throughout the course to applying the information to sports specific scenarios, incorporating actual real life examples and experiences and
gaining practical hands-on skills. Discussion and questions are encouraged throughout the two days and inclusion of the tutor's and students' own experiences adds to the learning experience.

A specialist, 2 day assessed course approved by BASEM, ACPSM, Scottish FA, Sport Scotland, Scottish Institute of Sport, Scottish Rugby Union and the Commonwealth Games Council for Sport amongst others
The first nationally recognised qualification in Sports First Aid in the UK.
On completing the course and passing the assessment a certifi-cate from the NSFA is awarded and the person is added to the NSFA database as a Certified Sports First Aider.
The National Sports First Aid certificate is valid for three years.
