Course Synopsis

Clinical audit, where clinicians review their practice against standards and identify solutions, is now recognised as an effective mechanism for improving the quality of patient care. Audit is the cornerstone of best practice, and has been proposed as the framework of revalidation of chiropractors in the future. Audit is essential to all healthcare professionals providing a structure to reflect and change.
Learn how to undertake an audit cycle that makes a real difference in practice. Using simple tools and methods, this course will enable the practitioner to:

  • understand clinical audit
  • appreciate the role of audit in contemporary clinical practice
  • improve the health of patients by addressing the causes of sub-optimal outcomes in patient care

This one-day course includes lectures and workshops, and is open to all practising healthcare professionals.
